Big Easy Justice
(Two episodes for CourtTV: See No Evil and Searching For Clues)

See No Evil
This story follows the murder trial of community activist Edward Jackson. In February of 1999, Mr. Jackson was killed while watering the plants in his front yard. There is a strong indication that he was killed in retaliation for his aggressive attempts to rid the neighborhood of drug dealers. SEE NO EVIL follows the story, and shows the different sides of the district attorney and the public defense of the accused side.

Searching for Clues
In the early 90šs New Orleans was considered the murder capital of our nation. Like the rest of the country the homicide rate has fallen, but recent homicide statistics demonstrate a disturbing upward trend. With witnesses unwilling to cooperate in what is predominantly gang-related crime, solving a homicide case is never easy. Searching For Clues follows the job of homicide detectives through three different murder investigations: the murder of a Korean store owner that was caught on surveillance camera; the murder of an African American male shot while riding his bike; and the murder of 3 men in a drug deal that went bad at a low-income housing development.
